14 days and 13 nights. All groups are kept at 10 - 12 passengers with the
exception of short transfers which we may use larger buses. All standard
tour packages include A Panama Canal partial or full transit, and an orientation
city and canal tour. Longer tour packages include many exciting options.
Currently, our oldest traveler was 94 years old. Of course this all depends
on your physical and mental abilities at any age. These tours are almost
self paced and the amount of walking is up to you. Anyone can always enjoy
themselves while the hardier adventurers explore ahead.
Tour packages can be adjusted with open days added at the beginning or
end of the tour or activities removed. We can also provide custom packages
and private tours. Group rates are also available. Although tour packages
have a minimum of 2 passeners, if travel is scheduled during our full Panama
canal transit package dates, we can accept single travelers and assign
them to a small group.

The Panama Canal
Whatever you want to call it, it is quickly becoming Central
America's newest tourism destination. Of all the wondrous things Panama
has to offer, the Panama Canal is probably the single best known among
Americans. This, of course, is primarily because Panama and the United
States have one thing in common...history.
There is probably not a single person in the United States who isn't aware
that Teddy Roosevelt played a major part in the construction of the Panama
Canal. Since the opening of the canal in 1914, millions of people have
passed from ocean to ocean enroute to countless destinations.
Many have returned to that beautiful and exoctic place called Panama'
that they had once only viewed from a passing freighter, tanker, passenger
ship or naval vessel.

The Panama Canal one-day cruise
schedule
Complete Panama Canal transits are offered twice per
month. We offer a partial transit every Saturday. All tour packages include
a complete Panama Canal transit, but can be modified and a partial taken
with any of our packages.
A complete transit of the Panama canal starts at 7:30 am
from the Pacific port of the Panama Canal and ends at an Atlantic port
of the Panama Canal. At that point, return to the Pacific port is by bus.
A complete transit usually takes about 10 hours.
Our partial transits begin at Pacific port at 7:30 am and
is usually completed by noon at Gamboa where return is by bus to the Pacific
port.
NOTE: We do not book transits only. Our minimum booking is our Panama at a glance package.
Times can always vary in the Panama Canal depending on traffic or circumstances.
Check our Panama Canal transit schedule before making any travel arrangements.

day ferry vessels only. Currently there are only two companies who offer
this service on a scheduled basis.

We can charter a vessel for groups wanting special service. In addition
to the vessels listed on this site, we have smaller yachts avaialble that
can be used. Keep in mind, that charter prices could be significantly higher
than scheduled rates, depending on vessel and your group size.
Special charters are subject to availability and we need adaquate time
to schedule with the Panama Canal. Call or email us for rates and details
on special charters.

Indian cultures and their art
Panama City is surroundedby lush rain forests. The Chagres
River flows through this rain forest on it's way to Gatun Lake which eventually
feeds the chambers for the Panama Canal locks system. Along the banks of
the Chagres River live families of the Emberá Indians.
The Embera Indians live today much as they did when the discoverer
of the Pacific Ocean, Vasco Nunez de Balboa, first set foot in Panama.
The Emberá are best known for their beautiful hand woven baskets
and fine wood carvings
San Blas is an experience of its own class. From the beginning to
the end, your are in the rustic lifestyle of the Kuna Indians. Their
culture is a peculiar one and our Kuna guides and representatives will
describe and show you the minutest details as you experience life in their
Island village. Enjoy eating freshly caught seafood from the Atlantic coast.
Daily tours to snorkeling grounds and nearby islands are included in our
tours. The Kuna Indians are best known for their brightly colored molas.

Day tours
This section details the day tours listed in most of our tour packages.
WE DO NOT SELL INDIVIDUAL DAY TOURS, INCLUDING FULL OR PARTIAL CANAL TRANSITS. Our minimum sale is our Panama at a Glance tour package.
